This is my new site. :)

I will add some of my old posts onto this site plus fill it up with new posts!

I did this manicure quite a while back but it is still one of my favorites. Someone would probably think it's a Sally Hansen Salon Effects or minx now though!

The base color is Rescue Beauty Lounge Stormy- if you don't have a grey, but want one *now and cheap*- Pure Ice Kiss Me Here- you can find it for about 2 bucks at Walmart. I'm not sure how close that grey is to the one I used here, but I've read its pretty close to China Glaze Recycle.

The feather stamp is on Bundle Monster plate 15 and I used Wet n Wild white, black (my go to for konading w/ black- works great, no staining) and China Glaze Sci Fi. I expected Sci Fi to look blue on the nail and possibly make my pretty grey polish look blue too! So I swiped a coat of Stormy on a nail wheel, let it dry and stamped Sci Fi on it. To my amazement, it didn't look blue at all! I tried China Glaze Millennium on the same swatch and still liked Sci Fi better.

China Glaze Sci Fi and Millennium bottle comparison:

I can't think of another color combo I would've prefered more for these feathers- I like the softness that the feathers give, and the moderness (is that a word? lol) that the black, grey, white combo give it!
